British Columbia had another PNP draw under the Skills Immigration (Skilled Worker, International Graduate, and Entry Level and Semi-Skilled), and also the Express Entry program (Skilled Worker and International Graduate), where a total of 271 invitations were issued. Amidst the impact and changing labour market of COVID-19 in the Province of BC, there were a total of 34 occupations excluded from the draw, including administrative and hospitality section positions. This is not the first time that BC has excluded occupations. During the March 30th PNP draw, where a total of 14 occupations were excluded. The initial 14 occupations excluded for both draws are identical, with the addition of 19 more.  There was however, Invitations to Apply (ITA) sent out to Skills Immigration Entry Level and Semi-Skilled occupations, which were excluded from the last draw.

This is the 6th all-program draw of 2020 and is the first time since the March 10th draw that included Entry Level and Semi-Skilled level occupations. In order to qualify for the BC PNP Skills Immigration and EE programs, candidates must complete an online profile with the BC PNP Online System. Top qualifying candidates are then chosen and receive ITA based on their registration score.
