US Visitor Visas

Overview of US Visitor/Tourist Visas

Visit Visas

US visitor/tourist visas encompass a variety of categories tailored for temporary stays in the United States. The B-2 visa, commonly known as the tourist visa, is designed for individuals travelling for leisure, tourism, or medical treatment purposes. It allows visitors to engage in activities such as sightseeing, visiting family or friends, and participating in recreational or cultural events. On the other hand, the B-1 visa, or business visitor visa, is for individuals travelling to the US for business-related activities such as attending meetings, conferences, or negotiating contracts. Both visa types require applicants to complete Form DS-160, attend a visa interview at a US embassy or consulate, and provide supporting documentation to demonstrate the purpose of their visit and their ability to fund their stay in the US.
