In a monumental, historical draw, the Government of Canada issued 4500 Invitations under its 137th Express Entry draw on February 19, 2020. So far, there have been 3 draws in 2020 (January 8th, January 22nd, and February 5th) where the average draw has been 3400 invitations. The minimum CRS score for the latest draw was 470, a drop of 2 points from the February 5th draw where the lowest cut-off score was 472. There are currently approximately 144,000 candidates waiting in the Federal Express Entry pool, of which 41,000 candidates have CRS scores between 401 -450 and 50,000 have CRS scores between 351-400. For those with scores between 351-450, the options are to increase your CRS score and/or receive an Invitation through one of the Provincial Nomination (PNP).
