On April 27, 2020—Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada’s (IRCC) Client Support Centre has reopened its Call Centre which responds to any questions regarding applications and their status. During the global pandemic, the Call Centre went to email only operations.

IRCC warns however; there are still ongoing impacts of COVID-19; therefore, call operations are at reduced capacity, Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.

Although IRCC has put in place new systems to support agents working remotely, technical issues may occur.

As always, online enquiries can be submitted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through IRCC’s online webform.
